Ondu

Terms of use

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms cover the Ondu apps for iPhone and Mac. Ondu is made by Max (“I”, “me”). By using the apps you agree to them.

The App Store licence

If you got Ondu from the App Store, your use of the app is also covered by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple’s differ, Apple’s apply.

Your server and your music

Ondu doesn’t provide any music. It plays music from a server that you run or have an account on. You’re responsible for that server and for the music on it, including having the right to store and play it.

The server software

The Ondu server is open source under the MIT License. The full licence text comes with the source code, and it applies to the server software on top of these terms.

No warranty

Ondu is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. I work to keep it reliable, but I can’t promise it will always work, be free of bugs or keep your data safe. Keep your own backups of your music.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss or damage from using Ondu, including lost data. Nothing here limits any rights you have that can’t be limited by law.

Changes

I may update these terms. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it last changed.
